"And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in." Is 58:12
We are living in an era of great spiritual deception and superficial Christianity, and are now starting to witness the great falling away, that Jesus Himself told us would be the order of the day in the end-times. It is apparent that although many profess Christ, not all worship the true and living God. The Gospel of God has been used very subtlely to promote many other contrary agendas, which at their root, have no basis in God or truth at all.
Repairers of the Breach aims to repudiate this and to return to the Hebriac root, and reality of the Gospel, with a focus on the Love of God at the core and centre of it's message, as we are reminded in Deut 6:4-5:
"Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD: 5 And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might".
We focus on pointing the world to repentance, or towards the love of the redeeming Cross of Christ our Saviour. In line with John 3:16-17, which reminds us that:
"...God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved".
We also aim to demonstrate the love of Jesus, and believe that the 10 commandments far from being done away with, as many attest, were actually enlarged Is 42:21 explains:
"... I will magnify the law and make it honourable"
so that it now becomes incumbant on those of us who call ourselves the people of God, to live out the BEAUTITUDES impactfully in our day-to-day existance.
Let's return to the Lord, "let's take (with us) words and turn" (Hos 14:2), and strive with each day to truly "love the Lord our God with all our hearts, and with all thy souls, and with all our minds, and with all our strength", and with everything that's within us. Infact Mark 12:30 reminds us that this is the first commandment.
Come on everyone, let's start a movement. Let's Repair the breaches, lets stand up in every place and speak out the truth in love, let's defend what is good, true and right, without shame or apology. Let's Restore His Paths, (Is 58:12).
