HAPPY SABBATH FAMILY! - IT'S A HIGH HOLY DAY
Praise AHAYAH Family! The GREAT ‘I AM’, The Miracle Working God and SOVEREIGN King. The ALMIGHTY!
DID YOU KNOW, IT'S A HIGH HOLY (or Holi-) DAY TODAY?
Infact it's a special/ HIGH HOLY DAY, or Sabbath Today Family, as is a SABBATH that occurs immediately before one of YASHAR'EL'S, or ISRAEL'S most auspicious FEASTS, namely THE DAY OF ATONEMENT. The Day of Atonement is the second of Israel's Autumn Feasts.
THE DAY OF ATONEMENT
– A CALL TO ALL YAHUAH’S PEOPLE EVERYWHERE TO FAST & PRAY
& Occurs on the 10th Day of this month, 10 symbolising completeness. This HOLY (or HOLI-) Day, which is not a FEAST in the true sense, as we are commanded to FAST, (taking neither food nor water for 24 hours from sunset to sunset) on this day, and to PRAY, SUPPLICATE, and REPENT before God, afflicting our souls.
A DAY FOR REPENTANCE - A Day to Reflect & Ask Ourselves: ‘ARE MY HANDS CLEAN? Is my heart pure?’
“Who shall ascend into the hill of YAHUAH? Or who shall stand in His Holy place? 4 He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted up his soul to vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. 5 He shall receive the blessing from YAHUAH and righteousness form the ELOHIYM (/God) of his YESHU’AH (Salvation) 24:3-5
BUT, WHAT DOES THE DAY OF ATONEMENT REPRESENT SYMBOLICALLY?
Looking purely at the symbols encoded in THE DAY OF ATONEMENT, it prophetically symbolises the DAY OF JUDGEMENT. This DAY also symbolises the ATONING SACRIFICE of CHRIST for us, "THE BLOOD THAT SPEAKS" (Heb 12:24).
THE 2 SACRIFICES CHRIST PERFORMED FOR US.
If you recall it was on this DAY OF ATONEMENT that the HIGH PRIEST, starting with Aaron as he was commanded by MOSES, in the TABERNACLE that was in the Wilderness, would take 2 goats, one he would KILL, or offer as a SIN offering, entering once a year on this very day, into the HOLIEST of HOLIES to sprinkle it's BLOOD upon the MERCY SEAT (PASSOVER). The other goat he would keep ALIVE, to be the SCAPE GOAT, or a LIVING atoning sacrifice (THE DAY OF ATONEMENT).
Incidentally, this day, DIVINE APPOINTMENT, or APPOINTED TIME as Lev 23:4 calls it, THE DAY OF ATONEMENT is where the world get's the term 'scape goat' from, (this term has BIBICAL origins). These 2 Feasts, The PASSOVER & The DAY OF ATONEMENT, both 1 Day FEASTS/ Holy Days together symbolise that YESHUA or CHRIST actually performed 2 sacrifices for our sins in his death on the cross for us.
CHRIST IS BOTH OUR SIN OFFERING (PASSOVER) & SCAPE GOAT (ATONEMENT)
CHRIST as our SIN offering/ sacrifice is symbolised in The PASSOVER FEAST, which is the first of the 7 FEASTS COMMANDED BY MOSES, ( in Lev 23). Thus, if we use DANIEL’S metric/ measure of a WEEK to analyse these 7 Feasts, a principle which YAHUAH Himself also used in THE BOOK OF JUBILEES, that was also written by MOSES, (if you recall we pointed out previously that this Book was found together with the DEAD SEA SCROLLS, pls do your research). However in this BOOK, you’ll see YAHUAH, Bless His Holy Name, The Almighty sets out the HISTORY of His people in JUBILEES, WEEKS and YEARS. The PASSOVER which occurs in the beginning of the HEBREW YEAR, would be at the start of the WEEK, which itself would symbolise the BEGINNING of the World, representing the FACT that YESHUA or CHRIST is the LAMB who was “slain from the” Beginning or The “FOUNDATION of the World”, see Rev 13:8).
The other goat was to remain ALIVE (after the HIGH PRIEST pronounced all the sins of ISRAEL upon it’s head), to be the SCAPE GOAT, or our LIVING atoning sacrifice, symbolising many things, just some being that i). that our “God/ ELOHIYM is not a God of the Dead, but of the LIVING” (Mark 12:27), ii). He bears away our shame and reproach /the effects of our sin. iii) He ever LIVES to make INTERCESSION for us, and the list of wondrous things symbolised in this FEAST goes on and on. All of these wonderful things are represented or symbolised in THE DAY OF ATONEMENT.
GRACE, AND MORE GRACE
The Day of Atonement, is the 5th of the 7 FEASTS prescribed by MOSES (in Lev 23), 5 symbolising YAHUAH’s GRACE, or unmerited favour towards us. This HOLY DAY occurs towards the end of the WEEK, or the end of the world, representing the Alpha and Omega, or A – Z of YAHUAH. He is everything, Family. He is altogether Lovely, Family. The BEGINNING and the END.
